- Diagnosis & patch test : perform an allergy test 48 hours beforehand (permanent colour can trigger allergies).
- Mix :
- Standard shades: 1 part paint : 1 part Oxivator
- Choose the developer :
- 10 vol / 3%. – 1 tone darker / shine on dull hair
- 20 vol / 6% – 100% gray coverage or up to 1 tone lighter
- 30 vol / 9%. – 2–3 tones lighter
- 40 vol/12%. – 3–4 tones lighter (strong lightening / ultralights)
- Application – first time colouring : apply to lengths and ends, leave in for 10 min ; then apply a fresh mixture to the roots and leave in for another 30 min .
- Regrowth touch-up/colour refresh : roots 30 min ; emulsify with lukewarm water and leave on for another 10 min .
- Aftercare : Emulsify, rinse thoroughly and finish with colour care (shampoo/mask for coloured hair).
